My favorites from my shoot for this assignment was my texture and my rule of thirds. The kitten (3 weeks old) is my neighbor's and the tree trunk was from a trip I took to Elsie Oregon.
As I'm developing my skills I've found there are two things I love in photos and that's trees and shadows. I love the highlight on the kittens back and how the tree looks very balanced even though the branches veer off in crazy directions.
Your kitten is gorgeous. I also enjoy the tree and how interesting it looks, it isn't just some up and down tree it has a distinctive characteristic which makes this photo nice to look at
