Lighting

Normal.

This is a pen that I've had for years that I've never found a purpose for because it doesn't work

We went on a sunrise hike on Saturday with some friends so I thought it would be a good time to take photos because of the softer light. I took what I needed then focused on the sunrise and taking pictures on my phone for instagram:) He kept laughing in between shots and kept trying to give a serious face.

The sun was finally up so I got him to stand sideways to get the contrast.

The sun was still a little below the horizon so his face was evenly lit and he wasn't being blinded by facing towards the sun.

I totally forgot about the object/abstract one so I quickly did it. I wish I could have done it with more time and better lighting.

I put it next to a window and put my phone on the other side of the window and turned on the flashlight.

This is the actual camera, it's an instant camera and I like it so much. It's so fun to use.

e_hooleyk: Lighting

My Mom just got home from having a job interview and she was talking about it with my Dad. She just graduated from nursing school, which was a six year process- so she is very excited to already be having call backs.

This is an old vacuum that is in my Dad's shop.

Lighting

I had a hard time finding people to take photos of for this particular project so I took to find different objects to play around with.

Believe it or not this particular photo was taking in low light.. I used a mini flashlight that is behind the glass cup to show blue light. And there's this really small light ahead of the shells.

Above may not be as clear but I thought this shot was so cool because it reminds me of the movie fog. How everything was so unclear. This was done with only a flashlight above it.

4_composition_KnoriF

With the picture of my dog, I tired to do rule of thirds or it could be even framing.

I was playing around in photo shop and I was trying to edit out the boat and the house, but it was my first attempt, this is also perspective.

I loved the slight fog that was at the top of the hill. this photo was difficult because I had to dodge the cars the entire time, but I wanted to be in the center of the yellow lines and I wanted to remove the trash that was in the picture.

I absolutely love autumn and when I was walking around Meinig park I saw this opportunity and took it, I wanted to remove the green object that was in the corner of the picture.

I decided to choose: line and rule of thirds. It was hard to capture the sun setting and get the foreground because of the bright light though.

Composition week

The top photo is an ornament I found at a craft store, Its significant because it represents my first baby (Presh my dachshund) I bought her when I graduated high school and she lived to be 6 and was killed last week so the ornament means a lot to us she was the princess wiener dog.

The next photo is of my daughter Lily. She is super concentrated in watching bubble guppies. I like how she is hunched over.

4_Composition_Zhiryada

My favorites from my shoot for this assignment was my texture and my rule of thirds. The kitten (3 weeks old) is my neighbor's and the tree trunk was from a trip I took to Elsie Oregon.
